WEE BALL RULES

 

 

  • A total of two innings will be played.
  • No score is to be kept.
  • Each batter is allowed three pitches. If the player does not hit the ball, he/she then must hit off tee.
  • Each player bats; continuous batting order.
  • Offensive coaches; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd bases, a pitcher, tee and dugout coaches are allowed.
  • Pitching coach must pitch from inside the chalk line.
  • There are to be six children in the infield. The rest of the team should be in the outfield. The two pitchers mound players line-up inside the circle, even with rubber no closer to home plate.
  •  If the ball is over thrown at any of the bases, the ball is then dead. Time is to be called.
  • Defense must stop the progress of the lead runner to stop a play. Time is to be called.
  • Everyone plays defense.
  • The inning is over when the last batter is out. (Changed 05/16)
  • When a player is called out, he/she then must leave the playing field.
  • Defensive coaches; two in the infield and two in the outfield are allowed.
